Once again I have fallen victim to being busy which has resulted in a ridiculous amount of lack of blogging! I have a million excuses for not blogging, but basically, I have just been busy and have not set aside the time to blog. Here are a few highlights of what I am up to:
- I recently moved back into the house in Huntington Beach and will be here until I head off to Boston, which is scheduled for mid-late April. I just LOVE moving. Seriously though, I am in the process of going through my possessions that have been in storage and trying to part with things that I have hung onto for a while, but might not need anymore. There is definitely Craigslist and a Garage Sale in my near future. I have realized that, thanks to the “Green” movement, it’s much more difficult to just throw things away. I feel like I have to Freecycle, Craigslist or donate everything…which, frankly, is a lot of pressure!
- I was asked to be the Coordinator of the 2009 Spring Women’s Retreat at my church, Seaside Community Church, and am currently working on getting volunteers to help with the planning and production of the retreat. our theme this year is The Fruit of the Spirit. Feel free to check out more info HERE at the blog that I am part of for our Women’s Ministry.
- Getting ready for Boston has produced quite a list of Things To Do. Car, work, housing, work, health insurance…did I mention finding a job?? I am trying to take on one task at a time in hopes of not feeling over-whelmed and scaring the crap out of myself, and that too is a big challenge.
- Thanks to a great sale by JetBlue last month, I was able to book a flight out to Boston to visit Sean on his birthday next month. Looking forward to experiencing the snow and cold of winter in Boston – but just for 5 days!
- My photography projects have been put on hold for a bit, but I do intend to get back behind the lens if not before Boston, then definitely while I am out there. I was also trying to archive some old family photos – and created a site to share with family members all over the country. I will be getting back to that project soon as well, I hope.
- I have some photos available for view and for purchase on my Shutterfly site HERE and HERE and my family and friend site HERE
Well, I guess that sums up a little bit of what’s been going on. I want to get better at blogging again and hopefully this post will kick start me back into gear.
Beautiful Keri.
I love what God’s doing in your life. I love that you embrace it all so fully.
So happy that you’re in my life, girlfriend.
